Penndulo Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Penndulo platform ("the Platform"), operated by Penndulo LLC (EIN: 35-2961135) ("we"). By creating an account or using the application at app.penndulo.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Penndulo is a management platform designed for professionals who need to organize their activity, with a focus on appointment management. The Platform allows you to:

Manage and view schedules and appointments from a single dashboard.
Sync external calendars, such as Google Calendar, via Google OAuth.
Centralize relevant information about your professional practice (as configured by the user).

Google Calendar synchronization is performed only if the user grants the necessary permissions through the Google OAuth flow.

2. User responsibilities

The user agrees to:

Keep their Penndulo access credentials confidential and not share their account with third parties.
Review and understand the permissions granted to Penndulo through Google OAuth when connecting their Google account.
Ensure that information entered on the Platform is accurate, up to date, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Use Penndulo in a manner that respects the law and the rights of third parties.

Penndulo is not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the account, loss of credentials by the user, or granting inappropriate permissions through Google OAuth.

3. Data ownership

Calendar data (events, schedules, descriptions, and other information contained in your calendars) always belongs to you, the user.

Penndulo acts solely as a viewer and manager of this data, providing an interface to:

View your calendars and events.
Create, modify, or delete events.
Sync changes between Penndulo and connected external calendars.

Penndulo's use of your calendar data is limited to providing the described service and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

4. Google integration and OAuth

To connect your Google Calendar account with Penndulo, we use the Google OAuth protocol. By completing the authorization flow:

You grant Penndulo permissions to read and write to your calendars, according to the scopes shown.
You may revoke these permissions at any time from your Google account settings (see section 6).

Penndulo does not modify your Google account security settings beyond what is strictly necessary for calendar connection and does not have access to your Google password.

5. Limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available and secure. However, Penndulo does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability and is not liable for:

Interruptions caused by third-party providers (such as Google or Nylas).
Loss of information resulting from incorrect calendar configurations or actions taken by the user.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

6. Termination and access revocation

6.1. Closing your Penndulo account

You may request closure of your Penndulo account at any time. Upon doing so, we will stop providing the service and delete or anonymize your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

6.2. Revoking Google access

You may revoke Penndulo's access to your Google account (including Google Calendar) at any time from your Google account settings, in the third-party apps with access to your account section. Once access is revoked:

Penndulo will no longer be able to read or write events in your Google calendars.
Some Platform features that depend on calendar synchronization will become unavailable or limited.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes to the Platform. When this occurs, we will publish the updated version at this same URL and indicate the last modification date. Continued use of Penndulo after an update implies acceptance of the new Terms.
